Here’s what’s happening.
After 30 years of church leadership I’ve just completed my SECOND full year as the International Director of Caminul Felix Villages! It has been an opportunity to lean into my faith and step into a bit of the unknown. But what an amazing journey it has been! In 2023 alone we’ve been to Romania and Thailand to serve at our villages there, and I’ve also been to Ukraine three times as we look to expand into that war-torn nation. Our trip to Thailand and our village in Surat Thani was incredibly fun and we have seen so much good as children are given real families to call their own! We also had the pleasure to celebrate 15 years of service in Thailand and 30 years as an organization. Thank you for following along. Stay tuned for more!

Director of Caminul Felix Villages International
Caminul Felix means HAPPY FAMILY! CF wants to answer the cries of abandoned and orphaned children by creating families locally where these children already live. In Caminul Felix families, children grow up in the safety of a stable home in their own nation. The parents of the families of Caminul Felix are always national citizens of that specific country. This allows the children to have their cultural, linguistic and social needs met and supported.
We currently have two villages in Romania, one in Thailand and more coming, perhaps in Ukraine. My job is to do absolutely everything I can to assist in this great endeavor.
First steps into Ukraine
International Expansion
An important focus of my time is trying to expand Caminul Felix to other countries. Much has changed recently - we have decided to step back from our initial plan to expand to Bangladesh and instead will be focusing our time and energy toward first steps in Ukraine. As of November 2022 a decision was made to investigate a unique opportunity we might have in this beautiful nation. Our interest began in February 2022 at the onset of war and as our villages in Romania began to receive Ukrainian refugees, well over 1500 of them - mostly mothers and their children. We will share more updates as progress is made.

My role with Caminul Felix offers me the opportunity to further develop my online voice and to be free to share about Caminul Felix whenever given opportunity. I’m very excited to do just that! I am also now available to speak to churches, fill in for my pastor friends, connect with community groups and with those interested in discovering more about Caminul Felix.
